An inspection by Slovakia's National Security Authority has found that components used in road radar systems come from Russia and could pose a security risk to the state.
Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Hlas-SD) confirmed the findings, but said he saw no reason to take political responsibility for the issue.
According to the minister, nobody made a mistake when two cameras were tested. Nevertheless, he said he would dismiss the head of the relevant department and the project manager responsible for purchasing the cameras. More in the topical issue.
