Martina is a cultural journalist passionate about Slovak art, history, and storytelling. From 2000 to 2006, and again since returning to RSI in 2013, she has shared the best of it on air and online. She spotlights beauty and excellence in every performance and story, from exclusive artist interviews to hidden travel gems and Friday culture tips for expats. Martina has a deep respect for Slovakia's cultural heritage, and her favourite medium is the audio documentary. While working on her 2020 series, Tracing Rudolf Geschwind, she developed a personal interest in rose collecting. A hardy swimmer, she loves family trips and catching up with former RSI colleagues turned friends.

Jeremy Hill
Originally from the United States, Jeremy moved to Slovakia in 2009 with his Slovak wife and daughter. A lifelong educator, he ventured into audio storytelling with his podcast Na Slovensku Aj Po Anglicky, which explores the migrant experience in Slovakia. Drawing on his background in podcasting and his degree in natural resources management, Jeremy joined the RSI team in 2023 to produce stories on the environment, sustainable living, and life as a migrant in Slovakia. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, spending time with his family, and—true to form—complaining about the weather. You can catch his features every other Wednesday.
