European and Slovak innovative companies and start-ups will soon have the opportunity to meet with investors from the US's Silicon Valley at the event TechMatch Slovakia 2015. This will be held between October 12-16 in Bratislava. Slovak start-ups selected by a committee consisting of experts from the public, private and academic sectors will be invited to take place. "About 30 representatives from major multinational corporations and professors from the University of Berkeley, investors from Silicon Valley and 60 start-ups from Slovakia and Europe will come together at this event", said Branislav Šafárik, the general director of the Slovak Business Agency, and the event organizer.
The first two days will be dedicated to experts teaching start-up owners how to pitch their business ideas. In the following two days, they will have to apply these teachings before a professional jury and potential investors. Then lectures and panel discussions with world-known personalities from the field of technology and innovation will follow.
