Ladislav Kubiš, who led Radio Slovakia International between 1998-2006, died suddenly on Saturday August 3rd. He had spent most of his journalistic career with the Slovak Public Radio service. He was also a keen tennis player being a President of the Slovak Association of Journalist Tennis Players. Let us remember our former colleague via an archived recording from 2004.

Mourners can pay their last respects to Ladislav Kubiš on Friday, August 9th, at the Bratislava crematorium.
