The Agriculture Ministry has officially ended the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak with no new cases reported. A total of over 1800 unregistered farms have been reported to authorities. A monitoring centre has been established in Vajnory to oversee the situation in the affected areas. The depopulation of infected farms has been completed, and no further positive cases are expected. The Agriculture Minister, Richard Takáč, urged farmers to adhere to veterinary measures, noting that the next two to three weeks are crucial for confirming the situation is under control.
