On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Robert Kaliňák informed the incumbent President Zuzana Čaputová about the Prime Minister Róbert Fico’s health condition at a meeting. Čaputová claimed that she was told Fico's condition is improving and he continues to be hospitalized in the Roosevelt Hospital in Banská Bystrica, adding that this news pleases her. At the same time, she said that she offered to visit the premier in hospital, noting, however, that she fully respects Fico's wishes and potential timing of the visit. Kaliňák informed the president about the current security situation in Slovakia, too. According to Čaputová the tension does not help to improve it and therefore it is very necessary for everyone to approach their public communication with consideration and respect.
