"We have a student with straight A’s who will graduate from grammar school, go to university where he will study international relations. And before he is twenty five and starts working, he discovers that the labour market does not offer any vacancies for him," said Andrej Lasz, general secretary of the Association of Industrial Unions and Transport.
As Jindřich Hodek, director of the Index Nosluš HR agency further pointed out, employing graduates who do not have work habits and experience is risky for employers.
The project for the young unemployed was also prepared by the Ministry of Labour. With the sum of 13 million euros by the end of the year, they will support those employers who will create a new job for such young unemployed people.
