Tomáš Poláček won a prize in the Public Assistance category for his proactive psychological work in the Military Missions Training Unit, as well as for regular psychological interventions or outreach and publication activities.
Jana Medvecová, the mayor of the village of Tokajík burned by the Nazis, was awarded in the category Friend of the Army for her long-term active maintenance of historical memory.
In the Service to the Fatherland category, Captain Marcel was awarded for evacuating a convoy with 28 people from Kyiv during the first days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Laureates in the Life Saving category were Peter Višňovský, Lukáš Gabák, Captain Peter and First Lieutenant Maroš from the Special Operations Forces of the Slovak Armed Forces. They were awarded for helping in a traffic accident, where they saved the lives of the injured.
