President Zuzana Caputova announced the composition of the caretaker cabinet on Friday, 12 May. Incoming Prime Minister Ludovit Odor explained that he chose the composition of the government members along with the president. He considers it to be important to calm the situation, speak politely and look for overlaps. According to Odor, the new cabinet wants to focus on urgent problems at the ministries, in connection with the recovery plan as well as current crises. Another priority will be to prepare the best possible budget. He also spoke about efforts to help vulnerable groups.
