The suspended part of the Public Health Authority's decree governing border arrangements concerns people who've received only one COVID-19 shot, cross-border commuters and teenagers aged 12-18. In practice, people who have received only the first shot of a two-shot vaccine following July 9 will have to undergo five-day quarantine upon entering the country. As for commuters and teenagers, either group won't be affected by the suspended effect in any way for the time being. These should be subject to further talks. The Public Health Authority remarked in this vein that the current rules will remain in place until the Constitutional Court's ruling suspending the part of the decree enters into effect. Moreover, the epidemiological situation in Slovakia in terms of the colours assigned to specific districts will remain unchanged, with all districts set to stay green as of Monday (August 2).
Partially vaccinated people will have to self-isolate upon entering country
