Districts with a low vaccination rate will also be a problem for schools, Minister of Education Branislav Gröhling (SaS) has said. The Ministry stated that due to the spread of the delta variant, outbreaks of the disease may occur in schools in the new school year. In such a case, in accordance with the applicable rules, the regional public health office will be obliged to close the affected classes. The occurrence of outbreaks can, however, be reduced by higher vaccination rates within the given districts, added the Ministry.
