Children up to 12 years no longer need COVID-testing

As of Monday, children under the age of 12 years are no longer obliged to show a negative test certificate for COVID-19 in places in Slovakia where this has been required until now, such as the interior premises of aqua parks, selected sporting events and parties organised in restaurants. The threshold was set at ten years of age until this change. "We're harmonising the age threshold with the current wording of the regulation governing border arrangements," said Public Health Authority spokesperson Dáša Račková. This measure also applies to participation in children's summer camps.
