Anyone returning to Slovakia from abroad, even if they went shopping in a town near Slovakia's borders, is obliged to register via the eHranica form to be found at korona.gov.sk before arriving in the country. This measure includes also vaccinated individuals. Health Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Eliášová added that the police would oversee compliance with the obligation.
New rules concerning inbound travellers will enter into force on July 9. According to them, conditions for entering the country will depend on whether the incoming individual has or has not been fully vaccinated, as vaccinated individuals will not have to undergo quarantine while those who are not vaccinated will be obliged to do so.
