As of Monday, vaccination with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine starts in the Bratislava and Žilina region. The Nitra region will join in on Tuesday, Trenčín and Banská Bystrica on Thursday and the Trnava, Prešov and Košice regions should start at the weekend. In Slovakia, the Sputnik V vaccine is for people between the ages of 18 and 60.
