The Czech Republic shifted Slovakia from red (high-risk) to orange (medium-risk) countries in terms of the coronavirus infection as of Monday (June 7). Thus, citizens of Slovakia will be able to travel to the Czech Republic with a certificate of a negative antigen/PCR test which they underwent before entering the neighbouring state. Slovaks no longer have to undergo quarantine after entering the Czech Republic, however, they are still obliged to fill in an online arrival form before entering it.
As of June 1, citizens of Slovakia can visit the Czech Republic for 24 hours for any reason if the length of their stay on Czech territory does not exceed 24 hours. As of June 1, Slovaks can also travel to the Czech Republic for the purpose of tourism if they show a Slovak vaccination certificate even dating only 22 days from the first jab. They can also show a certificate proving they have overcome COVID-19 no more than 180 days ago, or a negative antigen test certificate no older than 24 hours or a PCR test certificate no older than 72 hours. However, they must fill in an online arrival form.
