President Zuzana Čaputová will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of COVID-19 in Slovakia on Friday evening, doing so on the eve of the first anniversary of the first confirmed COVID-19 case in Slovakia (March 6th, 2020). The symbolic commemoration will take place in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace, with soldiers of the Guard of Honour and Military Music of the Slovak Armed Forces in attendance. So far the post- mortem exam of 7,665 patients confirmed Covid-19 caused their death.
