According to the scientific community, the lockdown prepared by the government for the Christmas holidays is not sufficient enough. They point out that the problem with the pandemic and hospital overcrowding will only be postponed to early January. They therefore continue to propose stricter rules and, in particular, significantly reduce people-to-people contacts and tighten up the border regime. The chief hygienist defends a more moderate form of lockdown by saying that they did not want to stress people before Christmas.
