COVID-19 Vaccine to be administered at 25 hospitals

Vaccination against novel coronavirus in Slovakia should be carried out at 25 hospitals that will be able to maintain the vaccine's cold chain [i.e. keep it at the right temperature], necessary to keep it effective. Health Minister Marek Krajči (OLaNO) announced this on Wednesday, adding that hundreds of people should be vaccinated daily. "We're preparing 25 hospitals logistically [so that they will be able to administer the vaccine by December 15], stated the minister, adding that the most vulnerable groups will be vaccinated first. As for the registration process for the vaccine produced by a collaboration between pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German biotechnology company BioNTech, the minister stated that his ministry has observed it and been preparing accordingly.
