Good Friday is an important religious holiday, observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. During Easter, Christians all over the world gather in churches, therefore Radio Slovakia International has also decided to visit churches during the Easter period.
In this feature we will take you to a congregation in Bratislava, which welcomes any English speaking people interested in joining this spiritual community. It is the Bratislava International Church – but first we will learn more about their historical place of worship, which is a Small Lutheran Church on Panenská street in Bratislava.

Back in the 18th century this small church was built for the international community, and it has kept this legacy even to this day. One of the Sunday morning services is held in English, and this is the service done by the Bratislava International Church.
