Only 0.66 percent positive in the second round of mass-testing

A total of 2,044,855 people were tested during the second round of mass testing for coronavirus with antigen tests that took place in Slovakia the past weekend, out of which 13,509 had a positive result, according to Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad (OLaNO). The ratio of people who were tested positive was thus 0.66 percent. There were 15 districts that recorded a positivity rate exceeding 0.7 percent during the second round. Chief hygienist Ján Mikas noted that individual regional hygienists may, if need be, adopt within their own regions stricter measures than those that currently apply across the board.
