As part of the anti-pandemic measures, the curfew in Slovakia will last until November 14 at all times other than between 1 a.m.-5 a.m. People with negative PCR tests or antigen tests taken in mass testing are exempt. The Government decided this at its session on Wednesday. A more recent test result will be needed in areas where a second round of mass testing will be held over the upcoming weekend (November 7-8), whereas results dated from October 29-November 1 will be sufficient for the rest of Slovakia. People without a negative test for COVID-19 can only go out to shop for essentials, visit a doctor or accompany a close person to the doctor. Exemptions also apply to people leaving their homes to get married, attend the funeral of a relative or walk a house pet within a radius of 100 metres from their homes. Also exempt are people who have recovered from COVID-19 and can prove this with a document dated no older than three months. People who were in isolation during mass testing or whose health did not allow them to participate are exempt as well.
