On Monday, two universities with the largest number of students in Slovakia, Comenius University (UK) and the Slovak Technical University (STU) both based in Bratislava announced that they would switch to distance education due to the worsening situation concerning coronavirus. At the same time the rectors called on students to leave their dormitories. Distance learning should begin on October 5.
