The Public Health Office will be able to obtain from operators the telephone numbers of people who have returned from so-called 'red' countries as MPs broke on Wednesday the veto of President Zuzana Čaputová and approved an amendment to the Electronic Communications Act, which also amends the Act on the Protection, Support and Development of Public Health. The amendment also says that the fine for non-compliance with isolation and quarantine after returning to Slovakia from a "red" country may amount to €5,000. The head of state has already announced that in the event that her veto is broken, she wants to approach the Constitutional Court.
