Mass-participation events banned, face masks remain mandatory

As a reaction to the increasing number of new cases of coronavirus infection, Slovakia will ban any mass-participation outdoor events for more than 1,000 people and interior events for more than 500. The wearing of face masks will become mandatory at interior as well as exterior mass-participation events. The same applies to schools, with the exception of pupils in the first four years of elementary school. The new measures will come into force as of  September 1st.
