"We will certainly advertise the benefits of vaccination (against coronavirus) by way of an information campaign but we do not want to force anyone," said Slovak Health Minister Marek Krajči. He added that Slovakia's strategy concerning making the vaccination against coronavirus voluntary is based on public opinion and the assumption that people will largely realise its benefits.
Krajčí confirmed that vaccination will be free of charge, in the case of a specific vaccine it is necessary to wait for development. "In any case, it is true that the vaccine can only come on the market after the third phase of clinical trials, these are the conditions of registration in the territory of the European Union, and thus also the Slovak Republic," he warned.
Health Minister considers the vaccination of the most at risk groups to be a priority. "We'll think about that," said Krajčí.
