Measures for inter-state commuters relax slightly

Commuters from a radius of 30 kilometers living from the state border will not need to show their negative tests for COVID-19 to be allowed to cross the border. Police posted on its social media, that from May 1, also crossing the border with minors is allowed. Moreover exemptions from going into a state quarantine will be given also to the medical staff and carers from the Czech Republic - South Moravian, Zlín, Moravian-Silesian and Olomouc regions, as well as from Austria - those staying in the federal states of Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. Karoline Edtstadler, the Austrian minister for the EU and the constitution also confirmed that they had found a solution so that Slovak nurses could also apply for financial assistance from the Austrian government's aid package.
