According to a survey carried out by the agency NMS Market Research, a large portion of respondents plan on shopping online via Internet stores for purchasing all of their Christmas presents; specifically 23 percent of women and 29 percent of men. At the same time, 93 percent of the respondents will buy at least one gift online.
The survey has also revealed that a total of five percent of Slovaks plan to spend more than €800 on Christmas gifts this year. Some 28 percent of those asked plan to spend between €121 to €200 on gifts, while a similar percentage plan to buy presents worth €201 to €400. Seven percent of Slovaks plan on paying less than €40. Some 93 percent of the respondents will buy at least one gift online. The survey was carried out on a sample of 2,000 respondents.
