The 48th CISM World Military Parachuting Championship has begun at the airfield in Boľkovce, near Lučenec. Teams from more than 30 countries are participating in the event, which runs until August 23. Slovakia is represented by parachutists from the Dukla Military Sports Centre, who have resumed operations after a hiatus of more than 15 years.
