Slovak athlete Lucia Piliarová finished fourth in Sunday's junior acrobatic gymnastics final at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Zagreb. Piliarová, last year’s junior world silver medalist on the uneven bars, finished ninth in the qualification round for that apparatus. However, after the application of the rule limiting each country's participation in the final to a maximum of two gymnasts, she moved up to seventh place, thereby securing a spot in the final. She subsequently improved her standing by three places in the final itself. Piliarová was also the first reserve for the uneven bars final, and it is worth noting that she holds fourth place in the overall all-around standings.
