Slovak biathlete Michaela Straková has won gold in the cadet endurance race at the Youth World Championships in Arber, Germany.
The 18-year-old made only one shooting error and won the 10-kilometre race with a commanding lead of 1 minute and 5.6 seconds over Norway’s Hanna Voelstad. Bronze went to Ukraine’s Viktorija Chvostenkova.
Earlier in 2025, Straková also claimed gold in both the endurance race and the sprint at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Bakuriani, Georgia.
