Slovakia faced off against Italy in the second game of the preliminary round of the Olympic hockey tournament on Friday afternoon. The Slovaks emerged victorious, 3-2 in a close match.
Libor Hudáček, Matúš Sukeľ and Adam Ružička scored for the Slovak team.
In the other B group game Finland defeated Sweden 4-1. After 2 games the Slovak team is in first place in group B with 6 points.
On Saturday the Slovak team will finish the preliminary round against Sweden at 12:10 pm local time.
