Slovakia’s ice hockey team met in Bratislava four days before the Winter Olympics and is travelling to Milan today. Head coach Vladimír Országh welcomed most players from European leagues and lower overseas competitions. Three players will join the team later. Six reserves are also flying to Milan, but they are expected to return home before the tournament starts. Other Slovak athletes are already arriving at the Olympic venue.
