The Boston Bruins will retire the jersey number of former defenceman Zdeno Chára. His number 33 will be raised to the rafters of the team’s arena on January 15th.
Chára spent 14 seasons with the Bruins, captaining them to a Stanley Cup victory, and now serves as an advisor for hockey operations with the club.
