Kenya’s Moses Kipngetich Kemei won the 102nd International Peace Marathon in Košice on Sunday, breaking away at the 33 km mark to finish with a commanding lead. His finishing time of 2:06:47 set a new course and personal record.
Ethiopian runner Balemelay Shumet Kebede won the women's race with a time of 2:21:56.
Tibor Sahajda claimed the Slovak half marathon championship title at the same event, finishing in 1:06:23.
