Slovak athlete Emma Zapletalová set a new national record in the 400 meters hurdles at the Diamond League meeting in Chorzów, Poland, on Sunday. She finished in second place with a time of 53.58 seconds.
Zapletalová was just edged out by the Netherlands' Femke Bol, who took the win with a season’s best of 51.91 seconds.
