Slovan Bratislava players did not advance to the 2025/2026 Champions League play-offs. This was decided by their defeat in the second leg of the 3rd qualifying round at Tehelné pol field to Kajrat Almaty 3:4 after a shootout.
After regular time the match ended 1:0 in favour of Slovan. In the first match, the "Belasi" lost 0:1. Vladimír Weiss Sr.'s team now awaits the play-off for the Europa League against the Swiss team Young Boys Bern. The opening match is on Thursday, August 21 in Bratislava, the second leg will take place a week later.
