Slovak canoe slalom athlete Zuzana Paňková claimed gold in the individual U23 kayak cross at the European Championships in Foix, France over the weekend. She completed the course in 55.36 seconds, finishing ahead of Czech competitors Olga Samková and Tereza Kneblová.
The 20-year-old had already won silver in the U23 C1 event on Friday, narrowly missing gold by 0.33 seconds after a single gate touch.
