Slovak swimmer Tamara Potocká claimed bronze in the 200m individual medley on Thursday, the opening day of the 2025 European Aquatics U23 Swimming Championships in Šamorín.
Potocká finished just 0.1 seconds behind the silver medalist, narrowly missing out on second place. Gold went to Ireland’s Ellie McCartney.
Her podium finish delivered an early medal boost for the host nation at the prestigious continental event.
