The Slovak national football team lost to Slovenia 0:1 after extra time and did not qualify for the Nations League Division B. "We played a great game against a team that was focused on destruction. ... The Slovenes were just waiting for our one mistake that decided the whole game," said Italian coach Francesco Calzona. He suggested that the result was not deserved, that his squad was the better team on Sunday night.
