Matej Beňuš, the only Slovak medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, was named the best individual at the Slovak Sportsman of the Year Awards. He won with 1323 votes, narrowly missing the record. The tennis team, featuring Anna Karolína Schmiedlová, Rebecca Šramková, Viktória Hrunčáková, Tereza Miháliková, and Renáta Jamrichová, won the best team award. Jozef Sabovčík, a legendary figure in figure skating, was honored as the sports legend of the year. Paralympic gold medallist Veronika Vadovičová was named Paralympian of the Year.
