Viktória Chladonova's debut at the 2025 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in the U23 category went very well. The Slovak cyclist got behind the leading group right after the start and secured the sixth place. Chladonova was 3 and a half minutes behind the winner Zoe Bäckstedt who became the World Champion in this category for the second time in a row. The eighteen-year-old Slovak did not follow up her medal success in Liévin, but she competed against older and stronger rivals. Chladonova will make her road cycling debut this year. The Slovak cyclist won the cross-country race at the Junior World Mountain Bike Championships and was second in the time trial at the 2024 Junior World Championships.
