Slovan Bratislava lost their seventh match in the 2024/2025 Champions League. In Tuesday's match at Tehelné polí, they were defeated by VfB Stuttgart 1:3. They are in 35th place in the standings, still pointless. The "Belasi" will conclude the league phase in the most prestigious club competition January 29 against German giants Bayern Munich.
According to Slovan trainer Vladimír Weiss: "The opponent was of course better and more physical. We wanted to get a better result, take a point, but this was beyond our strength. It's a shame about the third goal. We made a positional mistake, a bad pass, it can happen. The opponent was better and we should congratulate them. We have to prepare for Bayern and the league."
