In 2015 Slovaks are commemorating 200 years since the birth of one of their greatest public and political figures, Ľudovít Štúr, who was the leader of the Slovak national revival in the 19th century. Besides other deeds, Ľudovít Štúr contributed immensely to the Slovak language standard, codified in 1843. Almost two centuries later, we decided to speak to Tomáš Ulej, a young Slovak aphorist, journalist and web developer on how to approach 19th century Slovak in a fun and interactive way.
