What comes into your mind if you think of a way folk culture should be preserved, moreover, made into a monument referring to some common national history? Tomáš Džadoň, a young artist who is interested in the topic of tradition and its role in Slovak society, has come up with a quite unique idea to handle this problem. He has decided to place three original wooden houses on the rooftop of a 13 stories high concrete tower block building.
The project is called the Folk Architecture Monument and Zuzana Botiková spoke to its author.
