The civic association Divé maky, which supports exceptionally gifted Roma children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a gala concert “20 Years of Divé maky” will take place on August 23 at Divadlo Aréna in Bratislava, featuring scholarship holders, alumni, and professional artists.
Since its founding, Divé maky has awarded more than 900 scholarships, supported over 250 graduates, and provided over €1 million in aid, combining mentoring, education, and artistic programs to promote Roma talent and culture.
