According to the latest data, the willingness of Slovaks to report corruption and fraud is growing. Experts say this is linked to people's frustration regarding the wasteful handling of the state budget and corruption cases involving politicians. At the same time, three-quarters of Slovaks believe that whistleblowers should be offered greater protection. The Whistleblower Protection Office assists individuals reporting anti-social activities. This year, 71 per cent of respondents said they would be willing to report corruption or fraud in the workplace.
