A Slovak-Czech discussion forum, focused on the legacies of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and Milan Rastislav Štefánik, will be held at Topolčianky Castle on June 10. The event aims to strengthen relations between Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
The forum stems from a resolution passed during a government session in Topolčianky last November. Historians and academics from both countries will discuss the continued relevance of Czechoslovakism and the influence of Masaryk and Štefánik on bilateral relations.
Accompanying events will include exhibitions on Štefánik and Masaryk, a permanent exhibition at Topolčianky Castle, a visit to the Topolčianky National Stud Farm, and a cultural program.
