In the news recently, not only in Slovakia, there has been lots of talk about how civic society and NGOs are funded and what role they play in society. Recently in Slovakia, NGOs were accused of trying to overthrow the government. Ben Pascoe talks to long time member of Slovak civic society and current program director of the Platform for Democracy, Filip Vagač, about the state of civil society in Slovakia today.
