Protecting the environment, reducing our carbon footprint, and changing consumer behaviour—these are major life adjustments for many of us, often challenging and full of demotivating moments. That is precisely why the reuse centre Baterkáreň in Trnava was created. We spoke with its founders, Simona Hlaváčová and Jana Reháková, to learn more about their mission, legacy, and the various activities they undertake to make the world healthier and more sustainable—starting from this small city in Western Slovakia.
