Associations Mareena and COMIN along with the Civic Community organisation will jointly organise a public gathering in support of the freedom of Ukraine in Nitra at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, to mark the third anniversary of the Russian invasion.
The organisers pointed out that Nitra is among the cities with the highest numbers of Ukrainian refugees, especially women and children who have found a new home there. "Delivering speeches at the event will be both Nitra and Ukrainian artists and representatives of civil society. On the occasion of the third anniversary since the beginning of this horrible war, we'd like to demonstrate that we condemn the Russian aggression and support the hard-tested Ukraine in its uphill battle," added the organisers.
